Meet The Team
Craig started building in Lincoln in 2008. He is the Co-Director of DP Homes alongside his beautiful wife Rowena.
Craig is deeply passionate about being a part of DP Homes customer journey’s. From watching their excitement at their very first meeting, through to move-in day, it just doesn’t get any better. Craig just loves property and feels blessed that he’s found his passion.
Before working at DP Homes, Rowena and Craig spent 10 years working in Event Management throughout New Zealand and across the globe.
When Craig is not working he loves spending time at the lakes, waterskiing, fishing, mountain biking and chasing the dreams of their 17-year old twins Jacob and Hayley.
Looking ahead into the future, Craig’s ultimate goal is to celebrate his 50th wedding anniversary with Rowena.
Your best piece of advice: Property is a marathon not a sprint.

Rowena has worked at DP Homes since its inception, originally as an Accounts Manager. Today, Rowena Co-Directs the business alongside husband Craig, and loves nothing more than seeing her clients achieve their goals through building their own new home.
Prior to joining the DP Homes family, Rowena was a talented graphic designer working primarily in the property sector.
Outside of work, Rowena has a keen interest in reading, relaxing and going for walks, and spending quality time with her family.
Your best piece of advice: Everything in life happens for a reason.
Fun Fact: Rowena can play the piano.

After working as a Project Manager for 3 years, Laura now works as the Operations Manager. She loves working with her clients and helping them build their future in a DP Homes property.
Prior to setting up a life in New Zealand, Laura owned a bakery in Washington State, U.S.A. Before settling at DP Homes, Laura has worked for other residential building companies.
Family is super important to Laura, spending time with them and making sure everyone is happy and enjoying each other’s time is the key. Outside of family and when Laura has time, she loves to draw and paint.
Your best piece of advice: Respect is earned.

Odette joined the DP Homes team in July 2022 as a Project Manager. She enjoys the entire build process, seeing a project start as an idea/concept, and progress all the way through to completion. Working with clients and watching their dreams come to fruition is immensely satisfying.
Before Odette joined the DP Homes family, she co-owned a small residential housing company for 15 years where she was the Office Manager and worked closely with suppliers and tradespeople (on and off site) throughout the build process.
Outside of work, Odette enjoys doing yoga, reading, dancing and spending time with family and friends. Her goals are to enjoy and live life to the best of her ability.
Your best piece of advice: Don’t take yourself too seriously.
Alicia joined the DP Homes team in 2020 as their Company Accountant, and is passionate about all things numbers, crunching numbers and even highlighting numbers. Prior to joining the team, Alicia worked as a Chartered Accountant in the corporate sector for 6 years.
Outside of work, Alicia has two children - Lincoln 6 years old and Annabel 3 years old and lives close by in Lincoln. When she’s not at home, Alicia loves running, swimming and chilling at her Uncle Jake’s lake property.

Brad has worked at DP Homes for 2 years and is the Co-Director with Craig Douglas at the Douglas Fay Group. He brings a wealth of global experience in marketing and advertising to the role, and to the benefit of his clients and all stakeholders across the business.
When Brad is not working he enjoys spending time at the gym which ensures he can bring a consistent high energy to DP Homes. He also is deeply passionate about building a property profile.

Chaz joined the DP Homes team in early 2022 and has brought a depth of experience to the team. His people skills and knowledge in the building industry are an asset to the team.

John’s career has spanned across the corporate world at DB Group (10 years) in leadership roles, business ownership with a leading Franchise for 12 years before selling back to the master company after growing 8 x into a 72 equivalent fulltime team company.
John spent a year living and playing rugby in the USA which furthered his learning and cultural experience.
With his learnings and life, business experience he moved into coaching and consulting helping small businesses before joining DP Homes in the role of Commercial Manager. Given Johns client first, strong relationship ethos and innovative mindset it is a great fit to be part of the DP Homes/Douglas Projects Group.
John enjoys caravanning with his family and friends along with overseas travel. He is active in sports and loves socialising.
John and his wife Kim have 2 daughters and 2 grandsons to keep the heart full. A balance of family, friends, fun and helping people in their property investment journey are important to him.

Frankie joined DP Homes in 2025, and from day one she’s brought an incredible mix of energy, expertise, and genuine passion for the building industry. With a strong background in the trade sector—and years of working alongside us during her time at Placemakers—Frankie comes armed with deep materials knowledge, problem-solving smarts, and a can-do attitude that lifts every project she touches.
She’s the kind of person who keeps things moving, keeps the team smiling, and always finds a solution. Her industry know-how and positive approach make her an irreplaceable part of the DP Homes family.
When she’s not on-site or coordinating the next big build, you’ll find Frankie enjoying her downtime with her daughter, Scarlett— laughing and making memories.

Meg joined DP Homes in 2025 and has been the organisational heartbeat of the business ever since. With a background working in the electrical industry and a long-standing passion for the building sector, Meg brings a unique blend of industry knowledge, efficiency, and genuine care to her role.
As Office Manager, Meg keeps everything running smoothly. She’s organised, approachable, and the go-to person for clients, trades, and colleagues alike. Whether it’s coordinating schedules, streamlining processes, or supporting the team, Meg ensures every detail is handled with clarity and a smile.
Alongside her role at DP Homes, Meg and her husband also own a successful painting business—further strengthening her hands-on understanding of the industry and her commitment to quality craftsmanship.
When she’s not managing the day-to-day operations, you’ll find Meg enjoying sunny days at the lake with her husband and their two kids—relaxing, recharging, and making memories together.

Our Build Team
Mike and Glenda Kingston have been building since 2002, specialising in the construction of new residential homes and have worked closely with DP Homes since its inception.
Grant Todd has been building since 1988 specialising in architecturally designed housing in Christchurch's port hills. Grant has been a trusted build partner of DP Homes since 2014 and brings a solid build team to every housing development. Outside of work, Grant loves to go hunting and fishing particularly in the Rakaia area.
